Kōkako

‘Kōkako’ combines reclaimed Rimu with the Japanese technique of Shou-sugi-ban. The kōkako is make up of two species of endangered forest birds which are endemic to New Zealand. The North Island kōkako still remains but the South Island kōkako is presumed extinct.

Measures approximately 400mm in diameter.
